Mediation Fees
Full-Day Mediation: $2,500 per party
Half-Day Mediation: $1,600 per partyThe above rates apply to a two-party mediation. A "party" is defined as one or more parties represented by the same law firm(s). Parties represented by separate counsel are considered distinct parties.
For matters involving an amount in controversy of $10,000,000 or more—based on the total claims for relief, including counterclaims—the fee will be determined after consultation with Jordan.
The mediation fee is shared among the parties and covers:
• The review of all confidential mediation position papers
• Pre-mediation consultations with counsel
• The full mediation session, including lunch
• Post-mediation consultation, if neededAdditional terms:
• Fees must be paid at least two (2) business days before the scheduled session to ensure the mediation proceeds as scheduled.
• Mullins Resolution mediates in-person at a location provided by the parties, yet can arrange a separate location upon request (additional fee will apply).
• In-person mediations outside of Austin are available upon request, subject to scheduling and additional terms. -
Arbitration Fees
Mullins Resolution charges a flat rate of $450 per hour for all arbitration services, including hearing time, case preparation, and travel. The fee is split equally among the parties.
A deposit is required upfront, calculated based on the estimated time for the hearing and all related pre- and post-hearing work.
-
Cancellation & Rescheduling
A cancellation or rescheduling fee is charged if the mediation is cancelled or rescheduled within three (3) business days prior to the scheduled mediation.
Requests to reschedule are subject to availability.
Failure to appear for a scheduled mediation will result in forfeiture of all fees paid, as mediation sessions reserve time for all parties and limit availability for other matters.
The Mediation Process
1 → Preparation
Jordan studies the briefs carefully and often communicates with counsel in advance when helpful to clarify issues and ensure the mediation begins productively.
2 → Mediation Day
Jordan works actively with the parties throughout the day, offering candid feedback and practical analysis to help each side evaluate litigation risk and potential paths to resolution.
3 → Resolution
Jordan focuses on moving negotiations forward and helping the parties structure solutions that address both monetary and non-monetary considerations. If resolution is not reached the day of mediation, Jordan will remain engaged with the parties’ counsel and work toward resolution.
The Mullins Resolution Guarantee
The goal in every case is to cut through complex disputes and reach clear, lasting resolutions.
Not every case settles. If any side concludes that Mullins Resolution did not provide meaningful value, the mediation fee will be returned.
